The month of twinkling lights, tangled extension cords, and eating cookies for breakfast.

We have officially arrived at the Grand Finale of 2026. It is chaotic, yes. But it is also magic. It’s the only time of year when the world collectively agrees to slow down, turn on the fireplace, and just be together.

Here at On Many Occasions, our goal for December is simple: Presence over Presents. (But we have some help for the presents, too).

Week 1: Lights & Latkes
