Welcome to November. The month of cozy sweaters, gratitude, and eating way too many carbs.

We have officially entered the "Holiday Tunnel." From here on out, it’s a sprint to New Year’s Eve. But November asks us to slow down for just a second. It asks us to gather, to reflect, and to figure out how to fit a 20-pound turkey into the fridge.

Week 1: The Post-Halloween Reset

• Nov 1: Daylight Savings Ends / Author’s Day.

• The Good News: You gain an hour of sleep!

• The Bad News: Your kids will wake up at 5:00 AM anyway.

• Nov 2: Deviled Egg Day.

• Nov 3: National Sandwich Day / Housewife’s Day.

• The Dinner: Leftover turkey sandwiches are the goal, but for today, a grilled cheese will do.

• Nov 4: National Candy Day.

• The Logic: This is the day to eat the rest of the Halloween candy so it’s out of the house.

• Nov 5: Bonfire Night (Guy Fawkes Night) / Donut Appreciation Day.

• Nov 6: National Nachos Day.

• Nov 7: Bittersweet Chocolate with Almonds Day.

Week 2: Kindness & Coffee

• Nov 8: National Cappuccino Day / STEM/STEAM Day.

• Nov 9: World Freedom Day.

• Nov 10: Vanilla Cupcake Day.

• Nov 11: Veterans Day / National Sundae Day. 🇺🇸

• The Action: Thank a Veteran today. And maybe treat them to that sundae.

• Nov 12: Chicken Soup for the Soul Day.

• Nov 13: World Kindness Day.

• The Activity: Paint "Kindness Rocks" and hide them around your neighborhood. It’s a free, sweet activity the kids love.

• Nov 14: National Pickle Day / Family PJ Day.

Week 3: The Prep Week (Important!)

• Nov 15: Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day.

• The Strategy: Do not skip this. You need room for the turkey. Throw out the salad dressing from 2024.

• Nov 16: Fast Food Day. (Because who has time to cook this week?).

• Nov 17: Take a Hike Day / Baklava Day.

• Nov 18: Mickey Mouse’s Birthday.

• Nov 19: Play Monopoly Day.

• The Warning: Only play if you are prepared for a family argument.

• Nov 20: Universal Children’s Day.

• Nov 21: World Hello Day / Television Day.
